Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou welcomes its new General Manager, Mr Eric Jan van Haastrecht, who is from the Netherlands and has worked in China for almost 19 years. Eric Jan has held several Food and Beverage management and General Manager positions at IHG and Shangri-La properties in Beijing, Chengdu, Tianjin and Lanzhou, as well as being the General Manager at Golden Tulip properties under the Jinjiang Hotel Group in Shanghai. Eric Jan is rejoining Kempinski; he used to work at Kempinski?Hotel?Beijing?Yansha Center in 2006. Prior to this new assignment, Eric Jan was Vice President Operations of the WD Group, a freestanding restaurant chain with its most famous brand being Latina Brazilian Steakhouse. In his leisure time he likes wine, sports and listening to music. Eric Jan has a good understanding of Chinese and has a deep culinary insight. He is very fond of Beijing duck and loves all kinds of Chinese noodles.
